Sinabung.com is run by a small group of people who live and travel in North Sumatra. We have witnessed the destructive force of this once peaceful dormant volcano, and the effects it has had on the villages and landscape surrounding it.

We are very concerned for the many people in villages surrounding Sinabung volcano in North Sumatra, who are going through extremely hard times right now. They are tradtionally farmers, and live from the land. But during the eruption, nothing can grow here, and their livelihood is threatened.
